VISION THERAPY EVALUATION FOR CHILDREN & ADULTS

Our evaluation begins with a very detailed questionnaire that can be completed prior to your visit on line, or mailed or dropped off at our office prior to your visit. Any additional information (school performance testing, prior eye examination records, therapy reports) are extremely helpful for the doctor to review before your visit. Expect your testing to last from 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The purpose of this testing is to determine if visual information is being acquired and processed comfortably, clearly, accurately, and efficiently. This requires the two eyes to be able to focus correctly, align so that you do not see double vision, and both eyes are tracking efficiently.  

Vision Therapy is a personalized, non-surgical treatment designed to address a range of visual problems. It uses a combination of eye exercises and specialized activities to improve visual skills such as eye coordination, focusing, tracking, and depth perception. Ideal for patients struggling with conditions like strabismus (crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), and focusing issues, vision therapy can be a life-changing treatment for both children and adults. MYOPIA CONTROL FOR CHILDREN

Myopia Management focuses on controlling the progression of nearsightedness, a condition that is becoming more common among children and young adults. With personalized strategies, we help slow down the worsening of myopia and reduce the risk of complications such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal detachment. Our treatments include myopia control contact lenses, orthokeratology (overnight contact lenses), and special eyeglasses. We create a treatment plan tailored to each patient’s age, lifestyle, and degree of myopia to ensure the best outcomes.
