WHY NYC PUPIL?
The name was chosen due to its significant double meaning. The pupil is an essential part to our visual system. The pupil is the opening in the center of the eye that allows light to enter, and for the ‘brain’ to see the world. The pupil, or student cannot learn well if their vision is impaired.
