Here at NYC Pupil, we see patients of all ages for a variety of exam types!
Comprehensive Exams
During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our patients receive a detailed medical and ocular history, eye pressure assessment, visual acuity, peripheral vision screening, eye muscle balance testing, determination of your prescription, pupil reaction assessment, and a detailed internal and external ocular health examination. Ocular images will be taken for documentation and proper follow up care.
Contact Lens Exams
Interested in contact lenses? During a contact lens exam, the Doctor assesses visual acuity as well as the physical fit of the lens to find the best options for our patients! If this is a first-time contact lens exam, our staff will assist in training the patient to properly insert, remove, and care for their lenses.
InfantSEE Exams
We can even see infants! Infants up to 12 months of age are eligible for InfantSEE examinations which assess their visual acuity for early signs of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism as well as their visual skills and ocular health.
Pre- and Post-Operation Exams
Our Doctors are happy to examine patients both pre- and post-operation for a variety of procedures.
